Summary
In our country and in all countries, the manpower that can provide psychosocial intervention after disasters is limited. Both public institutions and non-governmental organizations send this qualified manpower to the region after the disaster. This is how it was formed after the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş. Psychosocial intervention teams were directed to the disaster areas. However, there is a very large population that is overlooked. They are children and young people who had to immigrate after the disaster. After disasters, especially rural areas receive great immigration. The biggest reason for this is that families who lost everything immigrate to rural areas where living conditions are relatively easier to establish a new life (for reasons such as house rent, nutrition, etc.).
However, immigrating children and young people take their fears, pain and mourning with them. These and similar situations that cause early school leaving are also valid for refugee families and their school-age children.
Teachers have a widespread professional network. Because there is a school in every settlement and teachers are employed. The most common professional group that immigrating children and/or refugee children encounter after disasters are teachers. For these reasons, the primary target audience of our project is teachers. Shortly, our project aims to firstly ensure teachers’ own psychological resilience and then bring them to the level of psychological literacy that will contribute to the children and young people defined above.

Target Groups
The main target groups of this project are teachers, trainers, social workers, psychological
counselors, guidance counselors, students and academicians of education faculties, searchrescue
and first aid teams, working in disaster areas and/or working with children and young  people who are struggling with mourning, affected by disasters and/or immigrants. The
experts who will do this are the administrators of educational institutions and the managers of
decision-making institutions.
The results of our project will produce results that will provide psychosocial support for
children and young people who are struggling with mourning, affected by disasters and/or
immigrants. These children and young people whose profiles are defined above are also
among our target groups.
