Participating in the “Green Schools” KA1 training adult trainers course provided a comprehensive and enriching learning experience. Here are specific skills improved and knowledge gained from the mobility activity:

- Project Planning and Execution: Gained hands-on experience in designing and implementing sustainability projects within educational institutions.
- Resource Management: Learned effective strategies for managing resources sustainably, including energy, water, and waste.
- Curriculum Development:
- Integration of Environmental Education: Acquired techniques to incorporate environmental education into various subjects, making learning more interdisciplinary.
- Activity Design: Developed skills in creating engaging and practical activities that promote environmental awareness among students.
- Teaching and Facilitation:
- Interactive Teaching Methods: Enhanced ability to use interactive and participatory teaching methods, such as workshops, outdoor learning, and project-based learning.
- Facilitation Skills: Improved facilitation skills to guide discussions, group work, and collaborative projects focused on sustainability.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Learned how to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders, including local communities, NGOs, and government bodies, to promote green initiatives.

- Eco-friendly Building Practices: Learned about eco-friendly building materials and practices that can be adopted in schools to reduce their environmental footprint.

- Environmental Policies: Gained insights into local, national, and international environmental policies and how they can be leveraged to support green school initiatives.
- Advocacy Techniques: Learned effective advocacy techniques to promote policy changes and secure funding for sustainability projects.
- Cultural Perspectives on Sustainability:
- Global Perspectives: Exposed to various cultural approaches to sustainability, enhancing the ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching practices.

- School Gardens and Outdoor Classrooms: Learned how to establish and maintain school gardens and outdoor classrooms to provide hands-on learning experiences about nature and sustainability.

Overall, the mobility activity fostered a holistic understanding of environmental education and equipped me with the practical skills and knowledge needed to transform educational practices towards greater sustainability.
